The Story of Bubblets:
The original Bubblet™, or at least a version of them, date back to the early 70s. My Grandfather a diecutter from Brooklyn, NY, was among the first to work with the now-famous yellow Happy Face that we all see every day. He used to print these happy faces on large plastic sheets then add a glue backing and die-cut all the smiley faces into circles. My original Bubblets™ had used plastic and now uses glass cabochons as a medium and are usually backed with a magnet. Old or new, the message and effect are the same "Be Happy". Recently, Holly has added photo processing and personalisation to the Bubblets™ and opened planITware.com to offer her creations for sale. Holly is a work at home Mom with three children and me, her husband. Holly is a Girl Scout leader of 8 years and is on the board in the local PTA.
